At Faisandier, we try to do things the right way — not just on-site, but in the way we show up in the community. Every project is a chance to leave things better than we found them, and part of that means giving back to the people and places around our developments.
When we were building at 1243 High Street in Taitā, we were lucky to have St Michaels School right next door. They were an incredible neighbour — kind, generous, and supportive from day one. They even allowed us to access the site through their school grounds, which made deliveries and storage during construction much easier.
As part of our commitment to supporting local communities, we made a financial donation to the school. They used the funds to purchase additional resources for their teachers — tools that help them support students in the classroom every day.
We’re not a national developer — we’re a local one. That means the places we build in are the same places we live, work, and send our kids to school. Supporting local organisations is just one small way we can say thanks and give something back.
It’s not about headlines. It’s about doing the right thing.
This won’t be a one-off. Our goal is to support a local school, kindy, or community group on every site we develop. We know that when you build in a place, you become part of it — and we want to leave a legacy we’re proud of.
If you know of a local organisation near one of our upcoming sites that’s doing good work, we’d love to hear about it.
Let’s build something good together.
